Prashant's music sounds human, natural, tangible on one hand but at the other it feels mysterious and abstract. I wanted the music video to reflect that.
By using footage from nature and deforming it in various ways I could generate a lot of material quickly, and infuse the animation with organic motion. To make the animation feel more natural I chose to go with an "analog" look with scanned textures and grain.
The result is an abstract animation that takes the viewer on a kaleidascopic trip.
